Our Story
ChanYond was founded in Shenzhen with a single conviction: cross-border e-commerce sellers deserve better IP protection than they're getting.
Our founder holds a Master's in Intellectual Property Law from China University of Political Science and Law — one of the country's top law schools — and is a licensed attorney. He spent 15 years watching the same pattern repeat itself: sellers built thriving brands, only to lose them to trademark squatters, hijackers, or simple administrative mistakes that a competent IP firm would have caught.
The problem was structural. Traditional law firms understood the statutes but not how Amazon, TikTok Shop, or Shopify actually worked. E-commerce service providers understood the platforms but not the legal framework. There was no one bridging the two.
So we built that bridge. Today, we've protected over 2,000 brands — from solo entrepreneurs to publicly traded companies. More than 70% of our new clients come from referrals. We think that's the best measure of whether we're doing something right.
